The Suzlon 1.25 MW is a pitch-regulated wind turbine with
asynchronous generator for a rated output of 1250 kW and with rotor
diameters between 60 and 66 m.
For this turbine type, Svendborg Brakes supplies the mechanical
emergency and parking brake system, which consists of one BSFI 3000
AWA fail-safe brake with automatic brake pad wear adjustment.
